December marked Bridget Hill's last month as a Commissioner and acting chair of the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.  Ms. Hill was recently appointed by Governor-Elect Mark Gordon to serve as Wyoming's Attorney General come 2019.

"Bridget has been a delight to work with and will truly be missed," noted WOGCC Supervisor Mark Watson at December's hearings when presenting her with a departing gift from the Commission.  As the incoming director of State Lands and Investments in 2013, Bridget Hill became an ex-officio on the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.  Serving for five years, Hill kept the hearings on track and handled legal questions and decisions with politeness but directness.  "She really was a master at making people feel at ease even when receiving a fine for a violation," mused Watson.  Each Commissioner took time during the presentation to express their gratitude for the excellent job she had done these past five years and how much they appreciated her dedicated service.

The new director for Wyoming State Lands and Investments, which will be appointed by Governor-Elect Mark Gordon, will serve in Bridget's place as a Commissioner for the WOGCC.
