The Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission began training operators on how to use the Wyoming eForms application the agency will soon be incorporating.  This new web application will eventually replace WOGCC's current online Electronic Filing system to allow electronic filing for most of the agency's forms.

The web application is being developed in three phases.  At this time, the training will address Phase 1 and will include eForms and menus for filings related to spud and drilling activities, BOP tests, APDs, baseline water sampling plans, baseline water sample reports, baseline water sampling data management.
Risk Based Data Management System/Energy and Water Software and Data Solutions (RBDMS) is the company that is designing the system.  Their experience with oil and gas data includes developing web-based programs with 25 other state agencies as well as designing the well-known and well-recognized website, FracFocus.

According to WOGCC's Deputy Supervisor Tom Kropatsch, who has been heading up the project over the last two years, RBDMS will address gaps in the agency's existing database.  "The new system will enable more data collection, provide electronic permitting, and seamlessly generate UIC and inspection data."

Kropatsch hopes to have the next two phases wrapped up by 2019.  They will address several functions such as management with bonds, wells, facilities and locations as well as incident and compliance management.  should be wrapped up by 2019.
