The employees at the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (WOGCC) understand the importance of giving back to their community.  Over the first half of 2019, half-a-dozen organizations were impacted by the generosity of the WOGCC staff.

WOGCC employees  have volunteered to deliver lunches for Meals on Wheels and have "adopted" the south side of King Blvd. to pick up trash through the city's Keep Casper Beautiful program. Additionally, the WOGCC holds an internal donation drive throughout the year for charitable organizations.

"We have so many generous people here at the WOGCC.  It's been inspiring to see how our folks reach out and give time and contributions, noted Kimberly Mazza, WOGCC's Sr. Public Relations Specialist.  "It shows we care about our community and the people that live here."

Last month an outpouring of donations of clothing were collected for the Casper Police Department's Victim Services. This month, cleaning supplies were collected for the Rescue Mission.  "We've also given to the Seton House and held a coat drive the Rescue Mission," stated Mazza.  Each month the WOGCC Volunteer Committee discusses ideas and organizations that might have a need. "Our committee decided to chose various organizations for our donation drives.  It has been a sagacious move to mix it up so that every employee can give to a cause they really believe in."
